GRAE-P500-Grae Ice Mortar

Repair mortar for floors in quench facilities

Grae Ice Mortar

Grae Ice Mortar

A pre-mix type mortar designed to form a structure that can be repaired within minutes at ultra-low temperatures such as refrigerated and frozen warehouses.

Features/Functions

1. Initial hardening occurs within a few minutes at  ultra-low temperature, and it is possible to develop the strength of general cement of 7 days, within an hour.
2. Excellent on-site workability because it has sufficient pot life and excellent fluidity
3. A high-strength mortar that has more than twice the strength of existing floors.
4. Excellent durability due to excellent adhesion with existing concrete.
5. No bleeding (color spreading) or settlement, and has excellent crack resistance.

Usage

1. Floor repair work in  refrigerated and frozen warehouses
2. Concrete repair work and foundation work requiring high strength in winter
3. Hardware foundation grout
4. 4 others winter parking lots, rooftops, etc. where floor repair is required

How to use
1. Clean the construction area.
2. Heat the construction area with a torch lamp.
3. Heat up the concrete penetration enhancer (Grae Hard con) at around 40°C and apply it.
4. Heat clean water to around 40°C and add the heated clean water 10% of the weight of mortar and mix it with an electric mixer. At this time, the water ratio shall be adjusted appropriately according to the pot life and site conditions.
5. If you stir a large amount at once, the working time may be tight due to the pot life.
6. Pour it over the area to be repaired and plaster it evenly with a plastering knife.
7. Work on the crack part after ‘V-cutting’.

Theoretical application area
Adjustment after site identification

Cautions
1. When using in the refrigeration or freezer, make sure to heat the water around 40℃.
2. Using excessive water may reduce the hardness and strength of the product.
3. Stir the appropriate quantity to be used within the pot life.

Storage/Precautions
Please keep it out of contact with moisture.
